How to Delete Multiple Friends on Facebook 0 comments

Do you have too many Facebook friends and want to unfriend some of them? This guide will show you a quick way to do it both in the old Profile and in the new Timeline. (Note: For those still using the Profile, this article has an important tip written in red letters to avoid the refreshing problem.)


How to do it for those using Profile

Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top right hand corner of the page, click on your name or small profile picture.

Once you have done that, click on the option Friends located in the left sidebar.

Once you have done that, you will be directed to a new page, on which you will see the list of all your Facebook friends. On that page, place your mouse on the “Friends” button at the right extreme of each friend you want to remove, and then click on the “Unfriend” option in the appearing menu.

Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says "Remove from Friends" to confirm the action. Important note: Do not click on “Okay” in the next message that appears. If you do that, the page will refresh and therefore it will take you a long time to remove several friends. Just repeat the above process with the next friend you want to delete and the message will go away.


How to do it in the new Timeline

Once you have logged in to Facebook, on the top right hand corner of the page, click on your name or small profile picture.



Then, click on the Friends box that is among the boxes that are right under your name and big cover picture.



Once you have done that, place the pointer of your mouse over the name of any friend you want to remove without clicking on it. In the small window that appears, place the pointer of your mouse over its “Friends” button, and finally, in the appearing menu, click on the “Unfriend” option.



Facebook will ask you if you are sure, and you will have to click on the button that says "Remove from Friends" to confirm the action. Repeat this procedure with all the friends you want to remove.

This method is the most comfortable way to remove a lot of friends on Facebook.
